Our Ministry
Our ministry was established to promote the message of hope available to all through the lifesaving belief in Jesus Christ. Our purpose shall be to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ, one life at a time, in both local and foreign communities, always remembering that: -One Life Saved Us All- "Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me..." Matthew 25:40 (NIV)

Serving Those In Need

On what was to be a final mission trip to a small orphanage in Asia, the founders felt the call from God to do more and One Life Saved Ministries was established. Our purpose is to spotlight and partner with small non-profit Christian organizations that may not have a way to share their work with the world and to offer short term mission scholarships. Through our website, we will develop a way for readers to learn about these organizations, pray for them, and partner financially as the Lord leads.

Focusing On One Life At A Time
Perhaps you've heard the story of the young man walking along the seashore who noticed hundreds of starfish that had washed up along the beach with the incoming tide. Knowing they would soon dry out in the hot sun and die, he quickly started picking them up, throwing them back into the sea. One by one, the starfish were returned to safety. "What are you doing?" inquired a nearby fisherman. "I'm saving the starfish," the young man replied proudly. "If they don't make it back into the water, they will die." The fisherman, shaking his head, looked at the young man and said, "You can't possibly save all these starfish...there are so many you can't even count them!" And then he asked, "What difference can you possibly make?" At this, the young man bent down and picked up yet another starfish and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he turned to the fisherman and said, "It made a difference for that one!" What Difference Can You Make?

Reaching the World For Christ

Africa

Pastor Pete Anderson is now focusing on his work in Africa through his ministry Trinity Center for World Missions out of Georgia. We were able to partner with his organization and provide a scholarship for a team member participating in her first trip to Africa. She shares some insights from her trip: I traveled to Trinity Biblical Institute's (TBI) main campus in Kapchorwa, Uganda. The main purpose was to attend the first ever TBI Graduation. We also hosted the annual TBI Training Week, or as we like to call it TBI Family Week. During this week, TBI faculty and staff members travel from all five of our teaching locations - Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, and Burundi, to gather together for a week of vision, prayer, training, and fellowship. I am very thankful for One Life Saved’s partnership in ministry!

Vietnam

One Life Saved Ministries was blessed to partner with Pearlside Church in Hawaii and offer scholarships to two families along with other team members as they headed to Vietnam to continue the work that was started in 2021. The youngest team member was just over two! It was wonderful to see the hearts these families had for reaching out to the lost. CONNECTING WITH STUDENTSThey had meaningful interactions with the students that the local ministry had been reaching out to. Through this they were able to help them integrate into the church community. PREACHING AT CHURCH CAMPThey had the opportunity to preach from Luke 15 about the two lost sons. It was a powerful way to communicate the message of God’s love and redemption.

Japan

Sixteen young adults from Grace Bible Church Hawaii heard the call from God to extend help to the growing campus ministry team in Japan. The objective of the mission was to reach four of the university campuses by making friends with local students and introducing them to the English club leaders on campus. One of the most humbling parts of our journey was seeing how God could work through our small acts of obedience. Whether it was offering a simple greeting, sharing testimonies, or taking time to listen to someone’s story, every interaction seemed to carry a divine purpose. This mission reminded us that the gospel transcends culture, language, and distance. We returned to Hawaiʻi forever changed, more aware of God’s global mission and more eager to live lives of bold faith wherever He calls us next.

Korea

Thank you OLS for supporting our team of five on a short-term mission to support Every Nation Church Seoul. Our purpose was two-fold, one to engage students with the Gospel on the University campuses in Korea to support the local church there and the second was to connect the students we engaged with to the church student ministries that Every Nation Korea has. We visited four campuses and personally connected with two students—one junior from Kookmin University and a freshman from Yonsei University (one of Korea’s top three universities). At their student mixer, the urgency of reaching classmates with the Gospel was preached. The next week, at our Hawaii Cultural Outreach event, some of them brought friends! The team led worship and preached at their weekly prayer meeting. It was a huge honor to serve that church and that nation.
